These conditions of delivery apply to contact rivets according to DIN 46240 Sheet 2 with soldered-on or welded-on tip (at manufacturer’s option) in contact materials which are not capable of being shaped by nonoutting methods, e.g. tungsten. Subject to agreement between manufacturer and user they are also to be applied as far as possible to contact rivets not contained in DIN 46240 Sheet 2 with soldered-on or welded-on tip in materials not capable of being shaped by nonoutting methods.
