Marking Systems, Inc. is a family-owned and -operated printing company started in 1971 by Henry Van Beber. Henry got his start selling for 3M’s Commercial Graphics division back in the mid to late ’60s. Marking Systems was originally named Vanco and started out of our family home in Richardson, Texas, in 1969.
Back then, our primary products were semi-trailer graphics, in-town fleet graphics, and OEM nameplates and labels. Suffice it to say, we’ve grown a bit since then.
