1.1.1 This standard covers the complete dimensional and general data for two types, A and B, of metric series headless clevis pins intended for general applications and recognized as American National Standard.

Type A headless clevis pins are without holes.

Type B headless clevis pins specified herein are with two holes intended for use with cotter pins. However, a means is provided to specify other hole sizes when required for use with other types of pins.
