Th s standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for fasteners (mainly screws. bolts and nuts) with an M 6 to M 36 coarse thread and provided with a zinc coating applied by hot-dip galvanizing, assigned to property classes up 10 10.9 for bolts and 10 for nuts.

The minimum coating thicknesses, specified in this standard also apply to hot-dip galvanized accessories such as plain washers and lock washers.
