The “Go” thread ring gauge must be capable of being screwed by band, without the application or undue force, over the full length of the workpiece thread. The “Not go” thread ring gauge must be incapable or passing over the thread.

The “Go” thread plug gauge must be capable of being screwed by hand, without the application or undue force, into the full length of tile workpiece thread. The “Not go” plug gauge must be incapable of being introduced.
