This Japanese Industrial Standard has been prepared based on ISO 15071 Hexagon bolts with flange—Small series—Product grade A and ISO 15072 Hexagon bolts with flange with metric fine pitch thread—Small series—Product grade A published in 1999 as the first edition by editing and integrating the corresponding parts (shape and dimensions, product specification, and designation of products) without modifying the technical content, while some items not specified in the corresponding International Standards are added as the Japanese Industrial Standard.

Portions given sidelines or dotted underlines are the matters not stated in the original International Standards. A list of modification with the explanations is given in annex 2 (informative).
