This Standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon socket countersunk head screws with threads from M3 up to and including M20, of product grade A and property classes 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9.

If, in special cases, specifications other than those listed in this Standard are required, they should be selected from existing standards, for example JIS B 0205, JIS B 0207, JIS B 0209, JIS B 0211, JIS B 1009, JIS B 1021 and JIS B 1051.
